“Shisei-ikkan”
(Make a sincere effort forlife)
was written by Tokugawa Yoshinobu, the last emperor of the Edo period.
“Kennin-Ryokko”
(Keep patience towards thegoal)
was written by Sato Susumu, the pioneer of surgery in Japan.
